Final Text on Health Reform Bill, March 18, 2010

Health reform is approaching its final stage...this week Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) released the final text of the health insurance reform legislation: Health Care and Education Affordability Reconciliation Act of 2010. For a 3 page summary of the reconciliation bill: click here.

The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) released a preliminary score for the health insurance reform legislation. The CBO has determined that the legislation will provide coverage to an additional 32 million people and will reduce the deficit by $138 billion over the next 10 years.
