At the 2011 NMA Annual Convention and Scientific Assembly, the Association launched a national campaign entitled: “We Stand with You,” NMA Physicians and their Patients United for Improved Health for All. This campaign has many “arms” which include health awareness and outreach with a large media campaign, health policy and advocacy “Call to Actions” from the White House to our State Houses. Additionally we will appeal directly to African American families with information on personal accountability, how to access care and other pertinent information.

Join the NMA and other partner organizations and commit to address health/wellness and help us combat health disparities. There is no fee or membership required; we simply ask that you complete our partnership enrollment and work with us on spreading health information to your members and your communities. If you or your organization agrees to partner with the NMA, we will announce your partnership at our upcoming meetings and in other media venues. Additionally, we communicate with our partners vital aspects of this campaign and give you information on how we can work together to save lives in our communities.
