Rachel Villanueva, M.D. is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University School of Medicine. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Villanueva attended Yale University and graduated cum laude from the Yale School of Medicine where she was awarded the National Prize in Women’s Health by Wyeth-Ayerst and National Medical Fellowships, Inc. She completed her residency at the New York Hospital-Weil Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Villanueva has been named one of the Influential African–American and Caribbean New Yorkers in Health by the New York Post and one of the Top Black Physicians in New York City by The Network Journal. She has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Alumni in Yale Medicine. Currently, she serves on the Advisory Board to the NYULMC Office of Diversity Affairs, the Professional Advisory Council for Health Power for Minorities, and as Co-Editor, Health Power for Minorities Women’s Health Channel. Dr. Villanueva is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is currently in private practice in New York City.
