Dr. James McKoy, M.D. is an associate member of the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group in Honolulu, HI. He received his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He is board certified in Pain Medicine, Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. He is the Chief of Pain Medicine, Chief of Rheumatology, and Coordinator of Complementary/Alternative Medicine Service for the Hawaii Kaiser Permanente. He is a retired Colonel in the US Army.
Dr. McKoy chairs the Hawaii branch's Medical and Scientific Committee of the Arthritis Foundation and serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Arthritis Today magazine, an award-winning bi-monthly publication of the Arthritis Foundation. Dr. McKoy facilitates arthritis support groups and pain seminars throughout the State of Hawaii.
