It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the passing of our esteemed Speaker of the House, Dr. Shelby Wilkes. His contributions to the National Medical Association (NMA) and his unwavering dedication to advancing our mission will forever remain an integral part of our history. While we continue to honor his legacy, the essential work of the NMA must carry on.

To ensure the continuity of leadership within our organization, we are seeking qualified candidates to serve as the Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates (HOD). This is a critical role that provides guidance and leadership to our House of Delegates, ensuring our policies and actions reflect the collective voice of our membership.

Eligibility Requirements:

To be considered for this prestigious position, candidates must:

  • Be an Active Member of the NMA.
  • Serve as a Delegate in the House of Delegates (HOD).

  • Confirmation of Eligibility:

Once your membership and delegate status are verified, you will receive an invitation to submit your curriculum vitae (CV) for consideration.
