Dr. Donald peghee, jr. Was born in kansas city, ks. He graduated from sumner academy high school. He then attended oakwood college in huntsville, alabama and attained a bachelors of science degree. Dr. Peghee graduated medical school at the university of kansas school of medicine and completed residency training at texas tech university health sciences center in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Peghee started private practice in 2014 with the idea of providing the best care for his community. Dr. Peghee is experienced in the field of obstetrics and gynecology and provides quality care with evidence based medicine. He has held several leadership roles with hospitals such as medical staff president, department chair of ob/gyn, department chair of surgery, participated in other hospital committees and state medical review boards.
He is also an active participant in community organizations such as greater kansas city medical society in which he served as president and currently serves as chair of region v of national medical society on a national level. In his free time, dr. Peghee enjoys spending time with family, exercising, playing pool and listening to jazz music.
