A Signature Experience for NMA Families
While you focus on the National Medical Association Convention, your children can take part in unforgettable, fully supervised experiences designed exclusively for NMA families.
Camp NMAzing offers age‑specific programming that ensures every child — from infants to teens — enjoys a developmentally appropriate, engaging, and joyful experience. Programs are delivered by Plus One Meetings, a trusted provider of youth and childcare experiences at national conferences.
Camp NMAzing Fees and Rates:
All five days = $1,700 ![]()
Four consecutive days = $1,200 (same price as 2025)
Two consecutive day = $1,000
Program fees cover transportation, activity admission fees, daily lunches and dinners, four t-shirts, and insurance. More details about the program and activities will be provided soon.
Each day, parents are required to drop off their child(ren) at 7:30 am and pick them up by 10:30 pm. Camp NMA-zing will be hosted at the Hilton Caribe. Please note that the schedule of activities may be subject to change.

Lady Bugs: Infant & Toddler Experience (6 weeks –2 years)
Families attending the National Medical Association Conference can participate fully knowing their infants and toddlers are cared for in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment. Delivered by Plus One Meetings, the Infant & Toddler Camp NMAzing experience offers attentive, relationship-based care tailored to each child’s routine.
Infants and toddlers enjoy separate play and rest areas, engaging toys, and plenty of love. Caregivers follow each child’s natural schedule—rocking, snuggling, and providing comfort as needed. Age-appropriate activities support gentle exploration and play.
With experienced caregivers, low ratios, and consistent supervision, parents can feel confident and at ease.
Busy Bees: Ages 3–5 Experience
Parents can attend the conference with confidence knowing their preschoolers are enjoying a safe, fun, and enriching experience. The Ages 3–5 Camp NMAzing program offers a nurturing, play-based environment where curiosity and creativity thrive.
Children enjoy a secure, engaging space with age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, cooperative games, movement, and quiet time. Program Leaders guide instructive play that fosters sharing, collaboration, and self-confidence—creating “I can’t believe I did that!” moments.
Supervised outdoor play and select off-site excursions introduce children to local Puerto Rican culture.
With experienced caregivers, and consistent supervision, children are supported in a welcoming environment where they can play, explore, and grow.
Explores: Ages 6–17 Experience
While you focus on the National Medical Association Conference, your children can enjoy a fully supervised, five-day adventure designed for ages 6–17. This immersive program blends cultural exploration, STEM learning, outdoor activities, and leadership development into a dynamic, enriching experience.
Participants explore Puerto Rico through curated excursions, including Arecibo Lighthouse, Old San Juan and Castillo San Cristóbal, Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park (featuring horseback riding, hayrides, and go-karts), Parque de las Ciencias, and a cultural immersion workshop at Parque Luis Muñoz Rivera, along with visits to Distrito T-Mobile and Toro Verde.
Through interactive learning, creative challenges, and group experiences, youth build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Each day is thoughtfully balanced with activity, discovery, and reflection—creating meaningful “I can’t believe I did that!” moments.
The result is more than a camp experience—it’s a memorable journey of growth, connection, and discovery.
What to Expect
Our Explorers Program is designed for children ages 6–17 and blends exciting adventures, hands-on activities, and unforgettable field trips across Puerto Rico. From splashing in the water and racing go-karts to taking on a zipline course at Toro Verde, each day is filled with movement, laughter, and fun. Children will be grouped by age and supported by experienced childcare providers to ensure a safe, engaging, and memorable experience.
Each day includes a mix of offsite adventures and relaxed onsite time to recharge, connect, and wind down.
Daily Flow: Mornings begin with breakfast and group activities, followed by daytime field trips. Evenings include dinner, team challenges, creative activities, and wind-down time.
Safety & Supervision: All children are supervised by trained childcare providers at all times. Safety protocols, check-in/out procedures, and staff-to-child ratios are carefully maintained throughout the program.
*Please note: Daily timing may shift slightly based on program needs and child arrival times.
Day 1: Saturday, July 25 – Arecibo Lighthouse & Historic Park
Morning: 7:30–9:00
Field Trip: 9:00–6:30
Evening: 6:30–10:30
A coastal park featuring ocean views, interactive exhibits, a small water park, and themed attractions that bring Puerto Rico’s maritime history to life.
- Morning Block: Breakfast, kickoff, and Lighthouse preparation activities.
- Field Trip Block: Travel to Arecibo Lighthouse Park where children will explore interactive exhibits, take on team challenges, and enjoy time splashing in the water play area; perfect for cooling off and having fun together.
- Evening Onsite Block: Dinner followed by ocean-themed games, group activities, and a relaxed wind- down with an optional movie night.
Day 2: Sunday, July 26 – Old San Juan & Castillo San Cristóbal
Morning: 7:30–9:30
Field Trip: 9:30–6:00
Evening: 6:30–10:00
A historic city filled with colorful streets, centuries-old forts, and rich cultural heritage overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
- Morning Block: Breakfast and group warm-up activities
- Field Trip Block: A day in Old San Juan exploring vibrant streets and Castillo San Cristóbal. Children will move through the city together, take in incredible views, and participate in fun, interactive groupchallenges along the way.
- Evening Onsite Block: Dinner followed by creative activities, team games, and time to unwind after a full day of exploring.
Day 3: Monday, July 27 – Carabalí Rainforest Adventure Park
Morning: 7:30–12:00
Field Trip: 12:00–6:30
Evening: 6:30–10:30
An outdoor adventure park near El Yunque Rainforest offering nature-based activities, animal encounters, and open-air exploration. A high-energy adventure day packed with some of the most exciting activities of the week.
- Morning Block: Breakfast, rainforest prep activities, and Project Sun presentation (ages 13–18)
- Field Trip Block: A full day at Carabalí where children can experience:
- Horseback riding
- Go-kart racing
- Open-air exploration and animal encounters
- This is a fun, active day designed for movement, laughter, and outdoor adventure.
- Evening Onsite Block: Dinner, light group activities, and a more relaxed wind-down after a big day.
Day 4: Tuesday, July 28 – Parque de las Ciencias
Morning: 7:30–9:30
Field Trip: 9:30–3:30
Evening: 6:30–10:30
A large science and discovery park with interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, and a planetarium experience.
- Morning Block: Breakfast and team assignments
- Field Trip Block: Children will explore the science park through interactive exhibits, hands-on experiments, and playful discovery throughout the day.
- Evening Onsite Block: Dinner followed by fun challenges, group activities, and time to relax together.
Day 5: Wednesday, July 29 – Cultural Immersion & Toro Verde
Morning: 7:30–9:30
Field Trip: 9:30–3:30
Evening: 6:30–10:30
A day blending Puerto Rican culture with adventure, including interactive cultural experiences and a visit to one of the island’s top adventure parks.
- Morning Block: Breakfast and cultural workshops
- Field Trip Block: Travel to Toro Verde where children will experience outdoor adventure, including a zipline course and time to explore one of Puerto Rico’s most exciting parks.
- Evening Onsite Block: Dinner, celebration activities, performances, and a fun closing to the week.
Auxilliary to the National Medical Association (ANMA)
