Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of death among Black adults who use tobacco. The National Medical Association, in partnership with the Center for Research, Health, and Social Justice, has launched an important study, titled “The Black Health Block Quit and Screen Project.” The study seeks to identify and address barriers that prevent physicians from referring Black adults who use tobacco to cessation services and lung cancer screening. We need your expertise to develop solutions that can make a meaningful impact in saving Black lives.

As a token of our appreciation for your participation, you will receive a Visa gift card of $100 for completing concept mapping and a $100 Visa gift card for completing the provider survey, for a total of $200 for completing both phases of the study. This is our way of saying thank you for your valuable time and contribution to this important research.

Sincerely,
